Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC) Group reported QAR 29 million in net profit for Q2 2026, up 32 percent year on year, with first-half profit reaching QAR 62 million. The Qatar-based logistics company said its performance was supported by stronger regional operations and solutions that helped maintain cargo movement across the GCC.

During the first half of 2026, GWC activated three multimodal trade corridors connecting Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman and Bahrain. The corridors combined sea, air and land transport, providing alternative routes for businesses and helping reduce disruptions to cross-border supply chains.

The logistics solutions supported the movement of essential goods and improved connectivity between regional markets. One corridor used a dedicated chartered vessel to secure cargo capacity into the GCC, while two air-land corridors connected international air freight with cross-border land transport networks through Riyadh and Hamad International Airport.

"This quarter was about transforming newly established trade corridors into dependable channels for regional commerce. By deploying trade continuity solutions and activating strategic multimodal trade corridors, GWC Group strengthened regional connectivity, expanded its regional logistics capabilities, and delivered what mattered most during a period of uncertainty: essential goods for our communities and uninterrupted business continuity for our customers," said H.E. Sheikh Abdulla Bin Fahad Bin Jassim Bin Jaber Al Thani, GWC Group Managing Director.

GWC also expanded its logistics capabilities through new operations, including a temperature-controlled cross-docking hub in Jeddah, supporting faster distribution of temperature-sensitive goods.
