Japanese firms boost trade with UAE with 222% YoY growth

In a move that strengthens cargo operations in the region, Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, launched a new global representative office in Japan. His Royal Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, Dubai Global, who opened the office, aims to establish a powerful network of 50 representative offices around the world by 2030. The Tokyo office is the Chamber’s 27th representative office globally and was launched as part of the ‘Dubai Global’ initiative Located in Tokyo, the office strengthens the emirate’s robust economic relationship with Japan and will facilitate the growth of business, trade, and investments between the two markets.
