JD Logistics has officially entered the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia East market with the launch of an 8,000 square metres smart warehouse in Riyadh, marking its first logistics hub in the region, commented Rayan Albakri, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics. Alongside the warehouse opening, the company rolled out JoyExpress, its self-operated B2C express delivery service, offering same-day and next-day deliveries across the Kingdom with flexible options like cash-on-delivery. The move comes as KSA continues to attract global investment under Vision 2030. Part of JD.com’s global expansion strategy, the Saudi launch positions JD Logistics to play a central role in the region’s e-commerce and logistics growth. The company is building a wide-reaching infra that includes warehouses, sorting centres, and delivery stations to support its growing footprint. “JD’s investment in the Kingdom aligns with our national vision to become a global logistics hub,” said Albakri.
