The European Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (EuroCham Jordan) and the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen trade, logistics and business links between Jordan, Germany and the European Union. The agreement is expected to support cross-border trade between the Middle East and Europe by helping businesses access new markets and trade partners.

Mohammad Samadi, Chairman of EuroCham Jordan, said the agreement would help connect the Jordanian business community with European networks, creating opportunities for local companies in trade, investment and industrial partnerships.

The agreement will support companies in finding trade partners, entering new markets and understanding EU trade rules and market access requirements. It will also cover business meetings, trade missions, delegations and the exchange of economic and regulatory information.

For the trade and logistics sector, the cooperation could help Jordanian businesses better navigate European market requirements and build links with new partners across international supply chains. Improved access to trade information and business networks could also support cross-border cargo flows and create new opportunities for exporters and logistics providers.

The chambers will also organise business forums and joint economic initiatives, with a focus on knowledge sharing and market access.

The cooperation comes as Jordan seeks to deepen its trade links with European markets, with Germany identified as a key economic partner.
