Jumia opens integrated logistics warehouse in Cairo

Jumia has inaugurated a major integrated warehouse on Suez Road in Cairo, marking a significant investment in Egypt’s logistics infrastructure. Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and ICT Minister Dr. Amr Talaat attended the inauguration ceremony. The 27,000 square metres facility is set to serve as a central hub for nationwide distribution, particularly improving delivery speeds to Upper Egypt. and Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber. The new warehouse features smart inventory systems and will support the storage and dispatch of thousands of products across categories. Jumia expects the facility to generate up to 10,000 direct and indirect job opportunities as part of its wider e-commerce and logistics ecosystem.
