K+N and Natilus explore sustainable cargo solutions

K+N has partnered with Natilus to evaluate the environmental and operational impact of blended-wing-body aircraft in commercial logistics, Holger Ketz, SVP Network and Carrier Management Air Logistics,K+N, said. The collaboration will focus on assessing the feasibility of integrating Natilus’s fuel-efficient aircraft, capable of reducing fuel use by 30 per cent and increasing payloads by 40 per cent —into existing air cargo networks. K+N will contribute industry expertise in route modeling, cost analysis, and sustainability assessment, “At our firm, we have led the way in making air freight logistics more sustainable and this collaboration with Natilus is another example of how we continue to explore new technologies for more environmentally friendly and cost-effective air cargo solutions,” Ketz added.
