Kale Logistics Solutions and Dubai-based e-Smart Logistics have signed a strategic partnership to provide airlines with package-level tracking and end-to-end visibility for e-commerce and high-value cargo shipments. The agreement will combine Kale air cargo technology with e-Smart Logistics' logistics capabilities to support airlines handling growing volumes of specialised cargo.
The partnership is expected to help carriers improve visibility across the supply chain by allowing shipments to be tracked at piece or stock keeping unit (SKU) level rather than only at shipment level. This can give airlines greater control over cargo movements and provide customers with more detailed tracking information.
The move comes as demand for e-commerce cargo continues to grow and shippers increasingly seek real-time updates on individual packages. Better visibility can also support cargo handling, operational planning and compliance with regulatory requirements.
“This partnership provides airlines with the tools to enhance their product portfolios allowing them to compete for traffic by offering the piece and parcel-level visibility demanded and the service quality shippers expect,” said Amar More, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Kale Logistics Solutions.
The partnership will integrate Kale’s AvSys platform, launched earlier this year, with e-Smart Logistics' logistics network. The combined system is intended to support airlines serving sectors such as e-commerce, healthcare, aerospace, automotive and valuables, where shipment monitoring and traceability are becoming more important.
Industry players are also facing increasing pressure to improve transparency and compliance across cargo operations. The new collaboration is aimed at helping airlines respond to these requirements while expanding their ability to handle specialised cargo products. The agreement was announced during the TIACA Executive Summit in Warsaw.
