KEZAD, JINGDONG expand warehouse capacity

KEZAD Group has signed an agreement with JINGDONG Property, the infrastructure investment and asset management arm of JD.com, to develop a 150,000-square-metre warehousing facility in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah. The facility is expected to be delivered in 2028 and will include automated warehousing and digital operations.
The project will provide flexible warehousing and logistics infrastructure for local and international businesses. Its location within KEZAD will support the movement of goods across regional and global markets, helping companies improve storage, distribution and supply chain operations.
The facility is also expected to create about 1,000 direct jobs across logistics, distribution and administration once operational. Construction will support additional economic activity, while indirect jobs are expected across manufacturing, retail, transport and related services.
Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed, CEO, KEZAD Group, said: “Our agreement with JINGDONG Property will enhance KEZAD’s logistics capabilities and strengthen its role as a gateway for regional and global trade.” The development will form part of Abu Dhabi’s wider efforts to expand its industrial and logistics capacity.
