Abu Dhabi and Singapore are set to strengthen trade and logistics links through a planned industrial corridor connecting the two markets, alongside a sustainability hub at KEZAD to support manufacturing and related logistics activity.

KEZAD Group, the Singapore Business Federation and Singapore Manufacturing Federation signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to develop the industrial corridor. The initiative will support stronger trade links, industrial investment and market access, while helping Singapore companies explore opportunities in Abu Dhabi and regional and global markets.

A separate MoU between KEZAD Group and Witthal Gulf Industries will explore a sustainability hub within KEZAD. The project will support cleaner technologies and more efficient operations across manufacturing, logistics and related activities.

The developments come as UAE-Singapore non-oil trade reached US$6.54 billion in 2025, making the UAE Singapore’s largest trading partner in the Middle East.

For logistics, deeper industrial ties could support additional cargo movement and supply chain activity as companies use Abu Dhabi as a base to access regional and international markets.

Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, said the new agreements reflect a commitment to creating opportunities for cooperation and expanding engagement across strategic sectors.
