KLN launches Europe-Middle East road freight link

KLN Logistics has launched a new road freight corridor linking Europe with the Middle East, offering door-to-door transit times of 15 to 25 days. The 10,500-kilometre route connects European markets with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan and Egypt.

The new service gives shippers another option to move cargo between the two regions as companies look for more flexible transport solutions. Positioned between ocean and air freight in terms of cost and speed, the road service can help businesses maintain supply chains while managing changing trade conditions.

KLN will manage the full shipment journey, including cargo collection, customs procedures, permits, border coordination and final delivery. The service will handle palletised cargo of up to 23 tonnes per truck, including dangerous goods.

The launch expands road connectivity between Europe and the GCC region, providing industries with an additional route for time-sensitive and specialised cargo. It also reduces dependence on a single transport mode for businesses moving goods across multiple borders.
