The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has broken ground on a major logistics corridor that will directly connect Jeddah Islamic Port to the Al-Khumrah Logistics Park, averred His Excellency Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman, Saudi Ports Authority. The SAR 689 million project, led by Mawani, spans 17 km and features two lanes in each direction, with 12 bridges to support smoother truck traffic flow. The corridor is designed to support the goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and strengthen supply chains, cut emissions, and enhance infrastructure for importers, exporters, and logistics users in the region.
