In its 2023 Annual Review & Sustainability Report, Menzies Aviation has announced a 10.7 per cent increase in global revenue to US$2.2 billion and an EBITDA of US$318 million, representing a 15 per cent margin. In 2023, Menzies Aviation handled volumes of 2 million tonnes, and its 36 Pearl lounges welcomed over 1.8 million guests, an increase of 173 per cent. The report highlighted a reduction of its Scope I and Scope II emissions by 3,417 tonnes CO2e compared to a baseline year of 2022. Compared with 2019 pre-COVID levels, this is a decrease of around 26,000 tonnes CO2e, which underlines the progress it has made against its 50 per cent reduction target for 2030. “Our commitment to powering the global economy and delivering seamless aviation services is unwavering,” Hassan El-Houry, Executive Chairman, said.
