Aramex has opened its first regional healthcare and pharmaceutical hub at Dubai South Free Zone, providing a central facility for storage, transport, and distribution of medical products across the GCC. The hub is fully certified by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Fadi Azzi, Senior Logistics Director, Aramex, said, “With the launch of our dedicated healthcare hub, we are elevating the standards of pharmaceutical logistics in the region. Our goal is to provide healthcare partners with a resilient, compliant, and fully integrated supply chain that empowers them to serve patients with greater speed, safety, and reliability.”

The hub spans 5,600 sqm and includes advanced temperature-controlled areas: storage, cold rooms, and freezer units, which are capable of handling the full spectrum of pharmaceutical products. It integrates warehousing, customs clearance, freight handling, and last-mile delivery, creating a single, streamlined logistics operation.

For the healthcare sector, the hub improves supply chain efficiency by reducing delays, maintaining product integrity, and enabling faster delivery of medicines and medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. Companies can manage inventory more effectively and ensure compliance with temperature and safety requirements.

By consolidating logistics services, the facility also supports growth across the life sciences and medical supply chain sector in the region. It strengthens the GCC’s healthcare logistics infrastructure and allows companies to respond quickly to rising demand for temperature-sensitive products, improving access to critical healthcare resources.
