NextNorth, FlyNow Aviation to expand UAM in Middle East

NextNorth Air Mobility (NextNorth) and FlyNow Aviation have signed a MoU to advance Urban Air Mobility (UAM) solutions, focusing on the Middle East. The MoU outlines plan to explore introducing cargo and passenger eVTOLs globally, beginning with a lighthouse project in the Middle East. This initiative aims to develop turnkey solutions and establish a common understanding of future interactions between aircraft, air traffic management, UAM technology platforms. “This partnership marks a step forward in our mission to redefine urban transportation,” Gema Ferrero, CEO, NextNorth Air Mobility, said. “By combining our expertise with FlyNow’s innovative eCopter technology, we are poised to make urban air mobility a reality, especially in the Middle East.” NextNorth, known for its air taxis, designs and operates UAM systems with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft. FlyNow Aviation develops modular electric eCopters for cargo and personal transport, recognised for their noise control, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. “We are thrilled to partner with NextNorth to push the boundaries of urban air mobility,” Jürgen Greil, CEO, FlyNow Aviation, added.
