The Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority has finalised plans for Nuwaiseeb Free Zone that aims to emulate regional counterparts in terms of organization and investor services, as per a statement. Located in the southern region of the country, the free zone will be designed with advanced economic specifications.
The project aims to attract and accommodate 500 local and foreign companies across various sectors. It will feature 50 logistics warehouses, storage facilities, and land plots, along with 50 factories specialising in light and manufacturing industries.
The zone will house three hotels, two sub-lease investment complexes, four restaurant complexes catering and two medical centers. The government’s initiative to establish the Nuwaiseeb Free Zone aims to bolster Kuwait’s national output by fostering commercial and industrial activities.
