Oman Air Cargo has taken another step to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia by welcoming its General Sales Agent (GSA) for Vietnam, Far East Aviation JSC, to its headquarters in Muscat. The visit reflects the airline’s growing focus on the Vietnam market as cargo demand between Southeast Asia and the Middle East continues to rise.

During the meeting, both teams reviewed current market performance and discussed plans to support increasing cargo volumes from Vietnam, particularly in key segments such as electronics, garments, perishables, and e-commerce shipments. The discussions also covered opportunities to improve connectivity through Muscat, positioning the capital as an important transit hub for cargo moving between Asia, the GCC, Africa, and Europe.

Oman Air Cargo highlighted the importance of close cooperation with local partners to respond quickly to market needs and deliver reliable services to customers. Far East Aviation JSC plays a key role in strengthening sales, customer engagement, and operational coordination in Vietnam.

The visit comes at a time when trade links between Vietnam and Gulf markets are expanding, supported by growing manufacturing activity and rising demand for efficient air cargo solutions. Oman Air Cargo said it will continue to work with its GSA partners to explore new opportunities and support long-term growth in key Asian markets.
