Oman speeds up AI-driven drone logistics with SERB

Oman is fast-tracking innovation in drone logistics as SERB enhances aerial cargo operations and regulatory oversight through its AI-powered drone platform, according to a statement. It is backed by Oman Investment Authority’s Future Fund Oman and developed in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority. The SERB Platform is designed to streamline drone-based logistics with advanced features, such as air traffic management, safe zone identification and environmental compliance. These capabilities ensure faster integration of drones into Oman’s airspace, supporting logistics services such as last-mile delivery. The startup plans to onboard 5,000 drone pilots and scale operations across regional markets, including Abu Dhabi, Jordan, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
