Osaka accounts for 40% of total Etihad Cargo ops in Japan



Etihad Cargo in 2024 managed 7,440 tonnes of cargo from Japan, with Osaka accounting for 2,911 tonnes or 39.1 per cent of the total tonnage, Stanislas Brun, Vice President Cargo, said.  Marking one year of operations in Osaka, Etihad Cargo highlighted its expanded footprint in the Japanese market. With 10 weekly flights—three from Osaka and seven from Tokyo—Etihad Cargo connects Japan to 100 global destinations through its Abu Dhabi hub, supporting Japan’s economic growth. “Our success in Japan, particularly Osaka, shows our commitment to being the Air Cargo Partner of Choice for our customers. By providing innovative and reliable air freight solutions, we look forward to supporting the growing Japanese market,” he added.
