Pattaya Airways adds new ATR 72-500F to its fleet



Pattaya Airways has added a new ATR 72-500F, named ‘Thanthima’ and bearing the registration HS-PAW, a company statement stated. This aircraft is one of two that the airline plans to utilise for its cargo operations domestically and internationally, supporting the growth of the logistics and e-commerce industries across the ASEAN region. The second aircraft of the same model is scheduled to enter service in May 2024. By 2024-end, Pattaya Airways will operate two ATR 72-500 freighters, with plans to expand its fleet to five by 2028. Pattaya Airways has secured an AOL from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand and is currently in the process of obtaining an Air Operator Certificate.
