Qatar Airways Cargo has announced host-to-host integration for e-booking between Qatar Airways Cargo and DB Schenker has come to fruition, effective from 4 May 2023. This development enables e-bookings on Qatar Airways flights directly from DB Schenker’s core system via API transmission, providing real-time pricing, capacity, instant confirmations and ultimately brings in the efficiency needed in the booking process as the first fundamental step. Applicable to lose general cargo shipments, QAC will follow a phase-wise cutover with phase I of the implementation covering Austria and Spain, while the rest of the network will be activated in subsequent phases.
