Qatar is taking steps to strengthen the logistics sector by helping technology startups. The TASMU Accelerator, part of the TASMU Smart Qatar programme under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), has signed a partnership with DHL Express Qatar.
The partnership is focused on logistics. Startups in the TASMU Accelerator will get support from DHL’s operational experts to test and improve their solutions. This will help them understand real logistics operations and make sure their technology works in the market.
DHL Express Qatar will share practical knowledge about logistics, supply chains, and day-to-day operations. Startups can use this guidance to improve efficiency, speed, and reliability in their solutions. They will also get help preparing for market entry and expanding their technology to more customers.
By connecting startups with real-world logistics experience, Qatar aims to make the sector more efficient and competitive. The programme also encourages collaboration between government and private logistics leaders.
This approach will strengthen the logistics ecosystem, support innovation, and ensure technology solutions can handle real logistics challenges, helping the Middle East’s logistics sector grow sustainably.
