Qatar Airways Cargo has expanded its freighter network to over 50 destinations via Doha, thus marking a steady progress in restoring cargo operations. The increase in routes is improving capacity and helping move goods more smoothly across key global markets, supporting supply chains that rely on faster and reliable connections.
The latest schedule reflects a gradual build-up of operations, with more destinations being added in phases. This expansion is helping freight forwarders and businesses access more routes, reduce delays, and plan shipments with greater flexibility.
As part of the process, the airline is also lifting some shipment restrictions step by step. While a few specialised cargo categories such as certain live animal shipments, human organs, and urgent critical cargo remain restricted for now, most cargo products are open for booking through regular channels.
This wider network is expected to improve cargo flow, especially for time-sensitive and high-value shipments. With more freighter options available, the industry benefits from better connectivity, improved transit times, and increased reliability.
