Qatar Airways Cargo has resumed cargo services between Doha and the United Arab Emirates. Twice-weekly freighter flights to Dubai World Central and three weekly freighter flights to Sharjah International Airport are now operating. At the same time, a key cargo restriction on urgent shipments has been lifted, allowing critical goods to move again.
The restart means more cargo space between Qatar and the UAE. With freighter services back, companies can send goods more regularly and avoid delays. This is important for time-sensitive shipments like medicines, perishable items, and other critical supplies that depend on reliable connections.
The airline says its freighter network will expand to more than 50 destinations. This wider reach can help businesses connect to more markets and move cargo across regions without long waiting times.
The lifting of the restriction on urgent cargo will help move high-priority shipments faster, especially on busy routes where space is limited. Cargo products, including those for live animals and medical shipments, are now open for booking.
