QR Cargo expands AI Human ‘Sama’ for air freight services

Qatar Airways Cargo has announced the expansion of its AI Digital Human, Sama, into the cargo sector, said Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo, QR Cargo. Sama, which will support cargo bookings, shipment tracking, and freight-related enquiries, will debut at Air Cargo Europe from 2 to 5 June 2025 in Munich.  “This move aims to streamline logistics operations and enhance service efficiency for air freight clients. By expanding Sama’s role into the cargo sector, we are reinforcing our commitment to innovation and excellence across all areas of Qatar Airways. Sama will now play a crucial role in facilitating seamless cargo operations. Our goal is to ensure that our clients receive the same high level of service in cargo as they do with our passenger offerings,” Drusch added.
