QR Cargo expands Europe, Asia capacity

Qatar Airways Cargo has expanded its cargo network by adding seasonal Boeing 777 freighter flights to London and increasing cargo capacity on several routes across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. The airline has also increased frequencies to Dhaka and Entebbe, adding more weekly cargo space to support growing demand from shippers.

The carrier has introduced seasonal freighter services on the Doha-London Heathrow-Paris-Doha and Doha-London Heathrow-Milan-Doha routes during July. The additional flights are expected to improve cargo movement between the UK and major European markets, giving freight forwarders more options during the busy season.

Qatar Airways Cargo has also increased capacity to Dallas, Brussels and Tokyo. At the same time, extra flights to Dhaka and Entebbe now provide more than 300 tonnes and 216 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity each way, respectively. The added space is expected to help businesses move time-sensitive and high-value shipments more efficiently.

The airline has also resumed passenger flights to Casablanca, Kuala Lumpur and Helsinki in July 2026. Besides carrying passengers, these services add belly-hold cargo capacity, creating more space for freight on international routes.

The latest network expansion gives exporters, importers and logistics companies greater flexibility, improves connections across key trade lanes, and helps ease capacity constraints in important global cargo markets.
