RedBox plans to expand its smart locker network to over 10,000 units across MENA by 2030, with 3,000 targeted by year-end, informed Thamer Al-Tuwaiyan, CEO, RedBox. The company has already delivered over 10 million parcels since 2019 and operates 1,800 delivery points. Backed by major e-commerce and logistics partners, RedBox aims to reduce last-mile emissions by up to 75 per cent through tech-enabled, contactless deliveries. “Over the next five years, we aim to expand our network to over 10,000 lockers across the region, introduce real-time locker-to-locker transfer capabilities, and become the preferred last-mile delivery partner for e-commerce and retail brands across MENA region,” he added.
