Rhenus has expanded its presence in the UAE with the opening of a new office in Abu Dhabi, located next to Abu Dhabi International Airport. The office, set up as an ADAFZ free zone entity, offers end-to-end logistics services including air, ocean, and overland freight, customs brokerage, and warehousing. The move strengthens Rhenus’ network as a branch of its Dubai office, enhancing coverage for key sectors across the Emirates.
“Our proximity to the airport gives us a strategic advantage, enabling us to support some of the region’s most dynamic sectors with enhanced efficiency and reliability,” said Ameen Sainudeen, Branch Manager for the Rhenus Logistics office in Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi office targets critical industries such as oil & gas, industrial, and aeroparts, providing faster response and closer support to major aviation and industrial customers. Positioned strategically near the airport, the new location allows Rhenus to serve regional clients more efficiently and support growing supply chain needs.
This expansion follows other strategic developments in the UAE, including enhanced operations for fast-moving consumer goods, fashion, aerospace, and high-tech sectors. Rhenus has also launched a new Air-Ocean product connecting Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with the UAE as a key transshipment hub. Additionally, the company secured logistics partnerships for major events, including serving as the exclusive logistics partner for INDEX exhibitions in 2026 and 2027.
