ROX and JINGDONG Logistics have set up a regional spare parts hub in Dubai, UAE, to serve the MENA region. The facility, launched after a signing at Jebel Ali Port, will handle storage and distribution of auto parts. It is designed to enable next-day delivery within the UAE and about one-week delivery across regional markets as operations expand.
For cargo and logistics agents, the hub creates a central stock point for automotive parts in the region. Instead of sourcing parts from distant markets for every order, shipments can move from a nearby warehouse. This helps reduce transit time and improves delivery planning across multiple countries.
The facility can store over 30,000 items across more than 2,000 SKUs. With inventory held closer to demand, agents can consolidate shipments and reduce the need for urgent air cargo. This may help lower transport costs and ease pressure on tight delivery schedules.
The system also supports better stock tracking and demand planning, which can help avoid delays caused by part shortages. For distributors and forwarders, direct access to parts from the UAE simplifies cross-border movement and customs handling. The hub will support markets including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, and others, strengthening regional supply chain flow for automotive cargo.
