Royal Jordanian Cargo has partnered with ECS Group to manage cargo sales in the United States, strengthening air freight links between North America and the Middle East. Under the multiyear GSA agreement, ECS Group’s U.S. subsidiary, Globe Air Cargo, will handle cargo sales at Chicago O’Hare and Detroit from 10 January 2026.

The partnership will support cargo flows into Amman and onward connections across Royal Jordanian’s network in the Middle East and other key markets. The airline’s cargo capacity on Boeing 787-8 flights from the U.S. will serve destinations including Jeddah, Beirut, Cairo, Dubai, Damascus and Tripoli, along with international markets such as Istanbul and Bangkok.

“This partnership reflects the scale of trust Royal Jordanian places in our ability to transform their cargo results in one of the world’s most competitive markets,” said Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group. “With GAC’s strength on the ground and our digital capabilities through CargoAI, ECS Group will generate accelerated growth for Royal Jordanian and deliver U.S. customers a level of reach and performance they have not had before.”

The agreement includes cargo sales, customer support and digital services to improve booking, pricing and shipment visibility for freight forwarders. These services are expected to help streamline cargo movement between U.S. exporters and Middle Eastern markets.

The partnership comes as airlines and logistics providers continue to expand air freight connectivity between North America and the Middle East. By strengthening its U.S. sales network, Royal Jordanian aims to improve cargo utilisation and support growing trade flows across the region. ECS Group will provide commercial support through Globe Air Cargo, building on its global cargo sales network and technology platforms.
