SAL, Huawei explore digital logistics solutions

With technology expanding across the logistics ecosystem, SAL Logistics Services, Saudi Arabia’s leader in cargo handling, logistics solutions and supply chain management, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia to explore logistics solutions and digital transformation opportunities in the Kingdom.

The collaboration focuses on leveraging Huawei’s technologies, including 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and green energy, to support the digitalisation of logistics zones and improve operational efficiency in the Kingdom. The two entities will also explore the establishment of a distribution hub to support Huawei’s requirements in the Kingdom, leveraging SAL’s operational capabilities and logistics network.

SAL also aims to become an approved logistics services provider for Huawei, supporting its logistics requirements in Saudi Arabia. The collaboration will allow both companies to explore innovative solutions and projects to improve the efficiency of the logistics network, accelerate digital transformation and support business growth.
