SAL Logistics has signed an agreement with Singapore Airlines to provide cargo ground handling and related operational services at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Under the renewable agreement, SAL will support the airline's cargo operations, strengthening its presence in Saudi Arabia's air freight sector.

Omar bin Talal Hariri, CEO of SAL, said, “Through this agreement, we are committed to delivering world-class operational standards that support the growth of the Kingdom’s aviation and logistics sector and reinforce its position as a global hub for transport and logistics, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.”

The partnership is expected to improve cargo handling efficiency at one of the Kingdom's busiest airports. By bringing cargo handling services under a single provider, the agreement can help speed up cargo processing, improve shipment flow and support more reliable operations for importers, exporters and freight forwarders using the Riyadh gateway.

SAL will provide a range of operational services, including cargo ground handling for Singapore Airlines' operations in the Kingdom. The agreement also expands SAL's portfolio of services for international carriers operating through Saudi Arabia and reflects the growing role of Riyadh as a regional cargo hub.

The deal comes as Saudi Arabia continues to invest in logistics infrastructure and strengthen air cargo connectivity. Partnerships between airlines and ground handling providers are becoming increasingly important as cargo volumes grow and supply chains demand faster and more efficient handling. The agreement is expected to support smoother cargo movement through King Khalid International Airport while enhancing operational capacity for international air freight services.
