Saudi investors have signed a contract to establish Saudi Logistics City within the free zone of Djibouti port. This logistics hub will cover an area of 120,000 square metres. The agreement, signed for a period of 92 years, will include a permanent exhibition, a platform for Saudi industries, and a commercial exchange area complete with warehouses and other facilities. Hassan Al-Huwaizi, President, Federation of Saudi Chambers, and Aboubaker Omar Hadi, Chairman, Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority, formalised the agreement at the Saudi-Djibouti Business Forum. “The Saudi Logistics City will serve as a gateway for KSA’s products and exports destined for countries across the African continent,” Al-Huwaizi emphasised. A delegation of more than 100 Saudi businessmen and representatives from various government agencies also attended the forum.
