Sharjah Airport handled 520 tonnes cargo in this Q1

His Excellency E Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), stated Sharjah Airport reported a significant growth in Q1 of this year, with 27,000 aircraft movements and more than 52,000 tonnes of cargo handled. An additional 3,000 tonnes were processed via sea-air operations. The figures highlight the airport’s operational efficiency and capacity to meet rising demand in air transport and logistics., “These results reflect the SAA’s ambitious strategy and continuous efforts to establish Sharjah Airport among the top five regional airports by enhancing operational efficiency, expediting procedures, and expanding its network. The sustained growth in aircraft movements and cargo volumes highlights the increasing trust placed in Sharjah Airport by airlines, strategic partners, and the logistics sector.”
