Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed a partnership with DHL Express to improve international trade and logistics services for businesses in Sharjah. The agreement gives chamber members, especially small and medium businesses, better access to global shipping, export support, and digital logistics tools. It also includes special service terms, training programmes, and joint business support initiatives.

The deal aims to make cross-border trade easier and faster for Sharjah companies. Through DHL’s global delivery network, businesses will be able to send and receive goods more efficiently across major markets in Europe, Asia, the US and the GCC. This reduces delays in shipping and helps companies manage their supply chains in a more reliable way.

For the sector, the impact is stronger trade connectivity and improved competitiveness. SMEs, which often struggle with high logistics costs and complex export processes, will get more affordable and simplified shipping options. The digital integration of shipping systems will also reduce paperwork and speed up order handling.

The partnership also supports Sharjah’s wider goal of becoming a stronger trade and logistics hub. With DHL’s international network and operational capacity, local companies can scale faster and reach new markets without major infrastructure challenges. Overall, the deal strengthens trade flows and helps businesses operate more efficiently in global markets.
