UAE-based cargo carrier SolitAir has entered a partnership with Eight Wings Aerospace (EWA) to enhance its fleet operations and technical management, announced Hamdi Osman, Founder & CEO, SolitAir. Under the pact, Eight Wings will provide support services including technical procurement, repair management, logistics, and PBH (Power-by-the-Hour) operations, aimed at boosting aircraft uptime and operational efficiency. The announcement comes as SolitAir continues expanding its B737-800 BCF freighter fleet, currently at five, with two more aircraft set to join by August 2025. “Partnering with Eight Wings Aerospace gives us access to technical and logistics expertise, which will be critical as we scale our operations. The airline is targeting a fleet comprising 20 aircraft by 2027 to connect over 50 cities within a six-hour flight radius of Dubai. Luliia Zhuravel, MD, Eight Wings Aerospace, said, “We are excited to join forces with SolitAir, which is a dynamic cargo airline on a strong growth trajectory.”
