Dubai-based SolitAir has signed a pact with World Star Aviation (WSA) to acquire two Boeing 737-800 converted freighters, said Hamdi Osman, Founder & CEO, SolitAir. The additions will boost SolitAir’s fleet to seven B737-800 BCFs by October, supporting daily scheduled and charter services across key Global South trade lanes from its 220,000 sqft logistics hub at Dubai World Central. The first aircraft was delivered earlier this month, while the second is expected in October. “These aircraft will strengthen our operational capacity and enable us to expand our reach across critical trade routes,” Osman added. SolitAir fleet is likely is to grow up to 20 freighters by 2027, linking 50 cities within a six-hour radius of Dubai.
