Swisslog powers Chalhoub’s smart logistics hub in Riyadh

Swisslog has been chosen to equip Chalhoub Group’s new logistics facility in Riyadh’s SILZ Free Trade Zone with advanced automation, including its AutoStore system and SynQ software, said Rami Younes, General Manager, Swisslog Middle East. The hub will support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s booming e-commerce and luxury goods sectors, aligning with Vision 2030’s logistics goals. Featuring 67,000 bins, 42 robots, and fully integrated ports, the system will boost efficiency, flexibility, and operational flow. Younes highlighted the project’s role in modernising KSA’s supply chain and its broader economic impact. With over US $60 million in regional projects and plans to grow its workforce by 20 per cent, Swisslog is deepening its investment in the Middle East, delivering tailored automation solutions across key industries.
