Teleport is expanding into the Middle East with Bahrain, operating its first full B747F flight from Hong Kong to Bahrain and connecting seamlessly to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other key Gulf markets via air and road. The move positions Bahrain as a strategic hub for eCommerce flows from Asia, especially China, to the Middle East, Europe, and beyond, leveraging the country’s advanced aviation and logistics infrastructure to scale operations globally.

Pete C, CEO of Teleport, said, “Teleport has built a strong network across Asia. To truly operate globally, we need the Middle East. Our first flight to Bahrain is a big step and establishes the country as a hub for growth beyond Asia.”

The partnership with the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), Bahrain Airport Company, and Bahrain Aviation Services gives Teleport full access to Bahrain’s aviation ecosystem, supporting the company as it builds its Middle East hub. Besides, Teleport plans to increase freighter frequency into Bahrain and the Gulf soon. The expansion is part of its promise to deliver faster, cheaper, and better services for eCommerce players and SMEs across Asia and the Middle East. More updates on the network growth will be shared in the coming weeks.
