The Hub expands into KSA’s logistics market

UK transport consultancy The Hub has opened a permanent base in Saudi Arabia, with the company already working with Saudi Arabia Railways on a strategic project. The expansion comes as the Kingdom steps up investment in rail and logistics infrastructure under Vision 2030.

The new base will give The Hub a local presence as Saudi Arabia develops freight links and transport corridors. The company’s work could support planning and investment decisions for projects aimed at improving the movement of goods across the Kingdom.

One of the key developments is the Saudi Landbridge, which is expected to improve rail connections between the Red Sea coast and the country’s eastern region. Better rail links can provide more options for moving cargo between ports, industrial areas and inland markets.

Saudi Arabia is also investing in wider transport infrastructure as it seeks to strengthen its role as a global logistics hub. This includes improving connections between ports, rail networks and major economic centres.

Founded in 2020, The Hub provides commercial, strategic, transformation, financial and economic advisory services to the transport sector. It has been active in the Middle East and is now increasing its focus on Saudi Arabia.

The expansion was supported by AstroLabs. The Hub said its Saudi presence will build on its existing work in the Kingdom and support its involvement in future transport and logistics projects.
