TIACA and Airports Council International (ACI) have signed a MoU to enhance cooperation, benefiting members of both organisations and the broader industry. The MoU aims to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of cargo operations at airports. The collaboration will develop joint advocacy programmes at ICAO events to support sustainable growth in aviation, particularly in cargo operations. It will also involve efforts to advance industry initiatives in workforce development and social sustainability, and mutual support for achieving the aviation industry’s net-zero 2050 goal. “Uniting air cargo through partnerships with key organizations such as ACI is significant,” Steven Polmans, Chair, TIACA, said. “Efficient and sustainable cargo operations are essential for the global economy and community well-being. Strengthening our cooperation with TIACA will improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in cargo operations,” Luis Felipe de Oliveira, Director General and CEO of ACI World, remarked.
