TIACA and the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS) signed a MoU at the first TIACA event in Central Asia. The MoU aims to bolster cooperation to advance unmanned aviation’s role in global economic and social development, particularly in air cargo. Key points of the agreement include collaborating to ensure a safe global unmanned air cargo transport system. Educating and developing projects with governments and private entities for cost-effective and efficient industry operations. Addressing needs of unmanned air cargo and promoting safety within the supply chain. Supporting sustainable solutions in line with the 17 SDGs. “This agreement supports our sustainability programme and vision for the industry. Collaborating with JARUS ensures a safe, profitable, and united air cargo sector,” Steven Polmans, Chair, TIACA remarked. “This pact is crucial for integrating UAS cargo needs and expertise, enabling innovative air mobility and services. We anticipate a productive collaboration with TIACA,” Giovanni DiAntonio, Chair, JARUS added.
