Toll Group has broken ground on its new 25,000-sq-m distribution centre at Dubai South’s Logistics District. The facility will include a warehouse, mezzanine and offices with storage capacity for 30,644 pallets. It will also feature a general cargo area with four customisable chambers and temperature-controlled zones with VNA racking — designed to meet LEED Silver Certification standards for sustainability. Set for completion in August 2026 — the centre will serve as a strategic hub for 3PL services, inbound and outbound stock management, value-added services and cross-border transportation across the MENA region. Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District, Dubai South, said, “This facility will not only enhance the capacity and efficiency of the sector but also contribute to Dubai’s vision of being the world’s most connected and sustainable logistics hub.”
