TruKKer caps UAE trucking rates amid crisis

UAE supply chains are under acute strain following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and capacity constraints at Jebel Ali Port, prompting concerns over inflated freight pricing. In response, TruKKer has introduced fixed, transparent trucking rates from Khorfakkan Port in collaboration with Gulftainer and Momentum Logistics. The initiative covers bonded and direct deliveries across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, aiming to stabilise costs and curb opportunistic pricing. Additional pilot corridors are underway linking Jeddah, Sohar, Fujairah, NEOM and Duqm.
