TruKKer has released a new GCC Land Bridge Playbook designed to simplify container movement across key Gulf trade routes, especially between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The guide focuses on how cargo actually moves through major corridors such as Khorfakkan, Sohar, and Jeddah, and explains the full process of cross-border shipping in simple terms. For the freight forwarders, the guide will help them plan and manage cross-border shipments more efficiently.

The playbook outlines the steps involved in import and export operations, including documentation requirements, customs clearance stages, transit procedures, and the roles of different parties in the supply chain. It also provides guidance on rates, terms and conditions, and the regulatory rules that affect container movement across borders.

The aim is to reduce delays in cargo movement, which often happen due to missing paperwork, unclear transit approvals, or coordination gaps between stakeholders. By mapping out each step clearly, the guide is intended to help shippers and logistics teams avoid common bottlenecks.

It is positioned as a practical tool for companies handling containerised freight, bonded cargo, and cross-border shipments between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The focus is on improving visibility and control over routing and clearance processes rather than providing a broad market overview.

The initiative highlights the growing need for clearer logistics planning in GCC trade, where efficiency depends heavily on documentation accuracy and coordination between multiple authorities and transport partners.
