United Airlines moves 3k tonnes of cargo in first year of service

Marking its first year of nonstop service between Dubai and New York/Newark, United Airlines has transported over 3,000 tonnes of cargo on 700 flights on this route, Thorsten Lettnin, Director, Sales Continental Europe, Middle East, Africa, India and Israel, United Airlines, said. Since the launch of the service in March 2023, the airline is the only airline from the USA to offer nonstop flights between Dubai and the USA and flies to more destinations in the Middle East than any other USA airline. “Since its launch in 2023, our Dubai-New York/Newark service has provided a greater travel choice for our customers in the UAE. and the possibility to connect via United Airlines’ Newark hub to destinations across the Americas, while our customers from the USA can fly beyond Dubai across Africa, the Middle East and South Asia,” he added.
