Qatar Customs is set to maintain trade and logistics momentum into 2026, building on December 2025’s high activity, which included 568,658 tonnes of cargo, 21,423 tonnes of land cargo, and 607,891 customs declarations processed across all ports. The figures highlight the efficiency of Qatar’s trade, infrastructure, and its growing role in global supply chains. Air cargo continues to lead, supported by Hamad International Airport and Qatar Airways Cargo, enabling fast movement of high-value and time-sensitive goods. Land and sea freight also remain vital, ensuring steady regional trade and robust supply chains. Officials said the 2026 focus will be on sustaining trade facilitation, supporting businesses, and strengthening supply chain resilience amid global uncertainties. These efforts aim to reinforce Qatar’s position as a reliable hub for regional and global trade.
