Westwell collaborates with Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) to advance autonomous industrial transport and intelligent logistics solutions in the Emirates. Westwell will join the RAKTA Autonomous Vehicle Sandbox as an industry partner and become its first partner for autonomous terminal trucks. The collaboration will focus on technology development, testing, validation and potential commercial applications of autonomous transport solutions.

The partnership aims to integrate autonomous driving technologies into industrial logistics operations, particularly terminal transport, while supporting the development of advanced supply chain infrastructure.

As part of the agreement, Westwell will also showcase and develop applications for its Q-Truck autonomous truck, supporting the integration of driverless transport technologies into industrial logistics operations.
