Aramex expands Gujarat network to boost GCC trade

Aramex has opened a new office in Ahmedabad, India, to support businesses moving goods between Gujarat and international markets, including the Middle East. The expansion aims to improve access to cross-border logistics services for exporters and manufacturers, strengthening trade links between India and the GCC.
Gujarat is a major industrial and export centre, with businesses in textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and engineering. The new office will help local companies manage shipments to overseas markets, including the UAE, as demand for international logistics services grows.
Aramex plans to work with businesses across the state, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to support their expansion into global markets. Services include express shipping, freight, warehousing, imports and exports, and contract logistics.
The move is part of Aramex’s wider India strategy and its Accelerate 5X plan, which focuses on growth in key markets and stronger trade corridors.
Amadou Diallo, Group CEO of Aramex, said the company was “positively engaged with the government to build a global gateway connecting Gujarat to the world”.
The expansion comes as logistics providers seek to improve connections between India’s manufacturing centres and major international trade markets.
