Bahri Logistics has launched a new multimodal logistics corridor linking Jeddah with ports across the GCC, creating faster and more reliable routes for trade between Asia, the GCC, and Europe. By combining sea, land, and air transport, and using its own vessels, trucking network, and in-house customs services, Bahri aims to maintain competitive transit times while keeping shipping costs efficient.
The corridor is designed to give businesses and logistics operators flexible and dependable options for moving cargo across the region. Containers can be transported seamlessly from GCC ports to Jeddah, where they can connect onward to global markets via Bahri’s shipping lines or via land and air networks.
Officials said the integrated approach improves supply chain predictability, reduces handling delays, and allows companies to plan shipments with greater certainty. The initiative also strengthens the role of Saudi Arabia and its ports as a regional trade hub.
By combining multiple transport modes under one coordinated system, Bahri’s corridor ensures that cargo flows smoothly even when market conditions or shipping routes change. For exporters, importers, and freight operators, the corridor offers faster transit, cost efficiency, and simplified customs procedures, helping the region’s trade ecosystem remain agile and competitive.
