Oman Air Cargo has started a daily road feeder service between Dubai and Muscat, creating a truck-based connection for air cargo moving between the two cities. The service is designed to move general cargo, perishables, and larger shipments that may not fit on narrowbody aircraft, improving the flow of goods across the UAE–Oman corridor.

The new operation links road transport with air freight networks, allowing cargo to be transferred more easily between airports in both countries. It is expected to ease capacity pressures, improve scheduling flexibility for shippers, and support more consistent movement of goods between key logistics hubs. The service runs daily and is aimed at strengthening regional supply chains that depend on fast cross-border movement.

According to Oman Air Cargo, the feeder service is meant to support evolving trade needs in the region. Michael Duggan, Head of Cargo, Oman Air said the service adds flexibility to cargo movement by complementing existing air freight operations and expanding the types of shipments that can be handled. He added that the company remains focused on providing reliable transport options as supply chains across the Middle East continue to adjust.
